In another major milestone at our International Study Centre at the University of East London, we are now teaching and supporting over 700 students with our January cohort joining their September counterparts recently.
An average day at the ISC now includes over 60 classes, with students learning in small groups of up to 25 on our range of International Foundation, International Year One and Pre-Master’s/International Graduate Diploma programmes. To cater for this breadth of courses, over 40 members of staff are now employed at our Study Centre at UEL’s beautiful Docklands campus, and our latest staff induction was enjoyed in January, bringing new starters up to speed with the learning, teaching and student support excellence provided in centre.
Our focus then moved to our latest student cohort, with the January classes getting to know each other, and enjoying a wide range of activities finishing with our biggest January group photo to date. Mythili Theivendran, our Student Services Manager, explained ‘thank you to all our partners who have worked with Malvern to recruit such high numbers of students this year. Our student and staff welcomes have needed the deepest level of planning so far at our centre, and we are very proud to have delivered such a well received student welcome week here in East London. We look forward to our new students flourishing here over the months ahead!’
